  Well world, it was not so great. David pressured me into purchasing auto insurance with NATIONWIDE, or so I thought it was NATIONWIDE. I already had auto insurance, but since I knew DAVID GASBARRO socially/professionally, I felt pressured as he was going through a nasty divorce. Shortly after DAVID GASBARRO pressured me into this auto policy I noticed that all his emails were from a “hotmail” account vs. a Nationwide or Insurance Agency email account. I was asked to meet at random places & times outside his office to give him premiums payments etc.… in cash. He said all of which was because he was moving offices because of the divorce. And that this had disrupted the normal insurance agency procedures. After meeting late at a bar to sign more document (literally like the 5th time) I lift and was involved in a very odd hit & run. I called him as we had just met at the bar, had been drinking, and I still had no proof of insurance from him. He told me not to call the police since I had been drinking even though I was not at fault, and that there was no insurance in place! WHAT????? I just bought auto insurance from DAVID GASBARRO (or so I thought) and now DAVID GASBARRO is standing in front of me telling me that I am not covered and I might go to jail!!! He explained that there was a delay or mix-up at the office with because of the divorce but he had a friend with a body shop, that could take care of the car, and that I would just wait a little bit of time, then report the vehicle as being in an accident. I told him I didn’t think that was right or legal and DAVID GASBARRO assured me that it was all fine because his office made the error and it was the easiest way to fix it. He sold this so well and I just sat there and bought it all up. Yes, I know! It sounds like I deserve all of this now for the stupid girl card, but YOU DO NOT understand how convincing genuine he sounds!!! I woke up hours later I guess disoriented, in a smoky room that smelled like pot, Dead music playing loudly in the background, & the only clothes I had on were my socks. I found my clothes (or at least enough) and ran out when I saw 4 to 5 other people I did not recognize in the apartment. After beating myself up for days and no one to confide in, I had to call DAVID GASBARRO because the VIN number on my car different and the insurance card was not NATIONWIDE nor did the VIN number match the insurance card. If I got pulled, I’d probably go to jail because I wouldn’t know where to start! I became aware of all when the car broke down days later & I took it into another body shop. I informed them of the recent work and they told me that all the parts used were old junk yard parts and not new ones! DAVID GASBARRO had all the paperwork, and the cell# he gave me was disconnected and his “Hotmail” email account kept returning to sender. I finally had to confront him in person, so I asked a girlfriend to accompany me for safety and to act as a witness. I didn’t tell her the circumstances but she must of thought I was crazy because DAVID GASBARRO acted like he didn’t even know me when I confronted him in person. Wtf????? I also came to find out that he was still married and was never going through this bitter divorce he described do often. Then I came to finally realize that I was not the first and that this has likely happened several times in the past. More than anything, I am worried for my safety and the next girl that he finds to victimize. I am actively seeking the help and courage of other victims to encourage them to tell their story as to warn others. Together we can anonymously be united and not fearful of DAVID GASBARRO anymore. This is the best way I could think of to warn others. My identity as well as DAVID GASBARRO’s other victims, are and will always be protected through this horrible hardship that unites us. I found another victim that has taken the time to hear my story and out of compassion from our shared experiences has agreed to help me here.
